- Open letter from the BSÖ to the Bar Association and the Supreme Court - on January 2nd it was reported in some media (see
Standard item) about a
Judgment of the Supreme Court
reported in which a lawyer's appeal against a disciplinary sanction by Wr. Bar association was not approved. The disciplinary sanction concerned the lawyer's public display of sex with a sex worker as part of an ATV program. This damages the reputation and honor of the profession.

one, the registration of the BSÖ was rejected because critical voices against a ban on purchasing sex or the Swedish model are apparently not wanted and sex workers are systematically excluded from participation. Once again people like to talk about but not with us. In principle, the SPÖ is against introducing the Swedish model, but there are a few very loud voices within the party.
